I expect nothing less from fergie. shes out to make a buck her career is on the brink in usa and is talentless overall. I guarantee you she'll fade away like such great talent as the spice girls. But who cares, they have to sell out to pay for their constant addictions.. Seriously how else can they snort so much whatever you want to call it to get them through their day.

Not so sarcastically, I am not suprised sting did that song by the way I think he benefitted from it more than Jaguar did. I bought that album because of the tv ad. It was catchy. I'd like to think music wasn't just about sales. But that isn't the case. MUSIC is SALES. atleast as far as the RIAA, the musicians like 50 and Kanye are concerned. Its not music its money. And frankly we ( society ) bought into this, open mouthed and eager. Just dont take pop culture too seriously it has no substance to it. If you want substance go to a museum.

Have you seen the new Target Ad with Stevie Wonder's "Sir Duke" as the background? I am outraged...but I do love the intro!

The sad thing is that I remember reading about that Sting/Jag ad/video at the time, and it was heralded as Sting's great comeback. I guess that ad somehow jumpstarted his career again. I dunno, but I can tell you that his music is so lame these days that he surely doesn't have to worry about losing the young demographic!

I also think that as you see the record companies go into financial death spirals, you'll see a lot more of these product tie-ins. They are looking for any revenue stream they can find. I can't wait for the all-star Big Mac Jingle album to come out!
