Really, the real star of this show are all the mom and pop water purification shops that thrive in places where the water is not potable, even after a britta-ing.  The only transportation is carrying it back two blocks and up the stairs to your apartment. 25 cents per gallon. &lt;/p&gt;

		<description>&lt;p&gt;The only caveat being that Brita filters are not for all cases. Brita filters don&#039;t actually do that great a job filtering out those kind of contaminants. Really the only case where I am sympathetic to bottled water drinking is in places where lead and copper contamination is common.&lt;/p&gt;
